Actions carried out for which the CEL Millennium Challenge Certificate was awarded
on 1st October 2000

1. Submit regular environmental articles for the monthly church newsletter
2. Producing a walks booklet linking the 7 local Baptist churches





3. Obtained a cycle rack for the church

4. Held worship services with an environmental theme
5. Collected till receipts from supermarkets, in collaboration with Christian Aid, to lobby supermarkets about their choice of stock
6. Carried out an environmental audit
7. Carrying out an environmental questionnaire of church family households
8. Produced and sold Millennium Challenge car stickers


9. Lobbied local M.P. on Jubilee2000 and supported national petition
10. Use fairly traded tea and coffee at church events
