JOB VACANCY FOR CHRISTIAN ECOLOGY LINK INFORMATION OFFICER
CEL is looking for a new Information Officer. This work is done from home and involves day to day administration as well as responding to requests for information and advice from CEL members, members of the public and other related organisations.
CEL is an inter-denominational, environmental, membership based organisation, sharing insights between churches and the green movement. The successful applicant will be in sympathy with the aims of CEL and have some familiarity with the environmental movement in the churches and beyond.
The work is part-time, taking up five hours a week, with a potential for an increase in contracted hours in due course. It would suit someone who is able to work from home and who has access to a computer and email. There will be a small remuneration of £7 per hour gross. The initial contract would be for a year with a three months probationary period.
The job would provide the opportunity to be involved in other aspects of CEL's ministry if the applicant so desired.
