London Operation Noah Ark Event

Ruth Jarman and her three children on Thursday 2 July joined the Operation Noah Ark event at London.

Two hundred children dressed up as animals were on the Thames in a boat and landed at a park next to Westminster where they were greeted by real animals including a sheep a goat and two alpaccas.

There were speeches and a short service witht he Bishop of London. Ten MPs arrived to support Environment Minister Ed Milleband. The MPs were keen to get in the pen with the alpaccas for photos. It was an appropriately hot day.
