Today is the day world population reaches 7 billion.
There are no easy answers to the population explosion but this is an
issue we can no longer keep under the carpet. At the very least we
need to discuss the implications by talking amongst ourselves, in
study groups and in our churches.
CEL's population page has been updated
http://www.christian-ecology.org.uk/population.htm
to include four relevant emails received TODAY from CEL members on
this topic. .. And links to useful sites.

Prayer for Sunday 6 November from CEL's prayer guide:
Help us, dear Father, so to deal with the things we possess that they
may never possess us. May we so order our lifestyle that we may tread
lightly on your earth. May all the good things that you have entrusted
to us be used in your service and for the glory of your Kingdom.
