The retreat will be a follow on from the last retreat, Staying on the Edge new vision, new energy . We cannot maintain the hope and lifestyle of being on the edge as isolated individuals. We need community. But what does that mean? What shape can that community take in the 21st century in a network like CEL? We will share worship, silence and the natural world; we will rejoice, lament, learn and, oh yes, eat! Come and join us. It is a moveable feast - Suffolk in 2009 and Scarborough in 2010.
There is the opportunity to stay on after the retreat for a night or two, or as many as you want until the following Wednesday morning (February 18). This will be done on a shared self-catering basis. We will be able to live together 'in community' enjoying each other, God's creation the surrounding area. Just indicate how long you would like to stay on, or make your mind up when you get here.
