Measures are being taken to improve the efficiency of the heating system, for example by replacing the upstairs heaters in due course

The church has made links with local organisations which promote re-using and re-cycling. Bottles are taken to the bottle bank. Aluminium cans are collected for recycling

Leaf-mould is produced for use in the grounds, and the composting system has been improved

The grounds are being improved with a view to wildlife by making additions including a log pile, a birdbath, and by increasing the range of wildlife friendly planting, e.g. plants to attract butterflies and insects

The children and youth groups use re-cycled materials whenever possible, especially from the Children's Scrapstore for their craft activities

Most A4 paper which has been printed on only one side is re-used in the office for drafts, print-offs or scrap notepaper. Envelopes are reused. Waste office paper is collected for recycling. stamps are collected for charity
